To maintain the performance, fit, and longevity of your LAU cycling apparel, we recommend following these care instructions:
- Machine wash cold (30°C max)
- Wash with similar colours
- Turn garments inside out before washing
- Use a laundry bag to help protect the fabric and reduce wear
- Do not use fabric softener
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Air dry

How It Works
If you damage your LAU product in a cycling crash, you can receive 30% off a replacement product. To apply for Crash Replacement, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged product
- A brief description of the incident
We will review your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
Conditions
The LAU Crash Replacement Program applies to:
- Products purchased directly from LAU
- Damage caused by a cycling crash
- Claims made within 12 months of the original purchase date
The replacement product will be the same product and size where available. If the original product is unavailable, LAU may offer a comparable alternative.
The program does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by incorrect care or washing
- Cosmetic changes from regular use
- Loss or theft
Each request is reviewed individually, and LAU reserves the right to approve or decline claims.
We aim to make your delivery experience simple and reliable. All orders are carefully packed and shipped from Denmark.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after your order has been placed. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Delays
While we always aim to deliver within the expected timeframe, delivery times may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside of our control, such as carrier delays, holidays, or unexpected events.

You may return your order within 30 days of receiving it. Please make sure your return meets the conditions outlined below.
How to Return
- Contact us with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
- We'll send you the return instructions and return address.
- Pack your item securely and send it back to us.
Please keep your proof of postage until your return has been processed.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be returned within 30 days of delivery.
- Be in its original condition.
- Have all original tags attached.
- Be returned in its original packaging where possible.
You may try on and inspect items as you would in a physical store. If an item has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to assess its nature, characteristics, and fit, we may deduct an amount corresponding to any loss in value. Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or an incorrect product was delivered.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, simply return your item for a refund and place a new order.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, we'll make it right. Please get in touch as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the issue.

At LAU, we take pride in creating cycling apparel designed for performance, comfort, and durability.
Every garment is carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. If your product has a manufacturing defect or does not meet our quality standards, we are here to help.
Warranty Coverage
LAU products are covered against manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase.
This includes issues such as:
- Faulty stitching
- Defective zippers
- Manufacturing defects in materials
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights under applicable Danish and EU consumer protection laws.
Warranty Does Not Cover
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by accidents, improper care, misuse, or changes in the appearance of the garment caused by normal use.
Examples include:
- Fabric wear from regular riding
- Damage caused by crashes or falls
- Damage caused by incorrect washing or care
- General fading or changes in appearance over time

recommend washing at 30°C, turning garments inside out, and using a laundry

air dry.
